{"id":22,"date":"2019-02-28T00:41:59","date_gmt":"2019-02-28T00:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/limb.dev.scorchedmedia.com.au\/research\/?page_id=22"},"modified":"2020-01-20T03:33:05","modified_gmt":"2020-01-20T03:33:05","slug":"information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.upperlimb.com\/research\/information\/","title":{"rendered":"Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-one-full fusion-layout-column fusion-column-last fusion-spacing-yes\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:20px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\"><h1>The Institute enables collaboration between Upper Limb Orthopaedic Surgeons and Researchers.<\/h1>\n<p>The Brisbane Hand &amp; Upper Limb Research Institute (BHULRI) aims to provide high quality research and care to its patients by being a centre of excellence in the area of hand and upper limb surgery and injury management.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep sep-single\" style=\"border-color:#e0dede;border-top-width:1px;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;\"><\/div><p>The Institute currently encompasses the private practice of a number of surgeons at Brisbane Private Hospital, St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, Mater Private Hospital, Wesley Hospital and Sunnybank Private Hospital, as well as public practice at Princess Alexandra Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute is a centre in which researchers and health care professionals are dedicated to improving the diagnosis and management of hand and upper limb conditions. The Brisbane Hand &amp; Upper Limb Research Institute (BHULRI) aims to provide high quality research and care to its patients by being a centre of excellence in the area of hand and upper limb diagnosis, surgery and management.<\/p>\n<p>BHULRI also faciliates the research component of the Brisbane Hand &amp; Upper Limb Research Fellowship Program.<\/p>\n<p>Funding for the institute is through a variety of recurring contributions\/donations, single project grants and sponsored clinical trials.
